So first off I ADORE the color Peahen! I makes me want to dress up, throw on some red lipstick and listen to jazz music lol. :)
The Too Faced glitter glue is amazing as well, my favorite primer so far. I love the natural eye palette as well. :)
For this look I used Urban Decay’s Primer Potion as a base, I used colors from my Naked 2 palette, and my Ammo palette. Sugarpill’s Tiara pigment, and Mon Ennui Cosmetics Disco Romeo glitter! :D
Maybelline’s One by One mascara and master precise eye liner. :)
Latest HAUL video. :)
So at the end of September Mon Ennui had a buy 5 get 2 free sale. Which is an incredible deal. So of course I had to take advantage of it and I was able to get almost all the colors that I’ve been wanting! :) I mentioned these colors in my latest HAUL video. :)

Powdered Penny is a little bit chunky, so I’m thinking I’ll use it more as a glitter than an eye shadow… but it is still amazingly gorgeous.

This is Moonstone and Paparazzo over a black base! :) With a tiny bit of Twilight down on the end lol, you can barely see it so I didn’t label it. :)

I used electric eye primer, Perfect 10 by Mon Ennui Cosmetics! Love that color :) I applied it with the pigment potion also sold by Mon Ennui. :) In the crease I have Vanity by Concrete Minerals, and as a highlight one of my all time favorite shades, This Girl Glows by Love Hues Cosmetics. :) Maybelline falsies for mascara! :)

The colors were much more vibrant than they showed up on camera unfortunately…
But I used Urban Decay Primer Potion, Perfect 10 by Mon Ennui Cosmetics, Girl with the most cake by Madd Style, and the color Kitten from my Stila In the Light palette as a highlight. :) Mark my eyes eyeliner pen, Lo’real Voluminous mascara in carbon black, and my NYX auto brow pencil for my brows.
Look number 3 in the “lost looks” lol. This one I actually do know some of what I used because the colors are so unique. :)
The green shadow is Cactus Water by Mon Ennui Cosmetics :) and the pink/gold inner corner color is Perfect 10 by Mon Ennui. :)
So I’ve been using Mon Ennui for a few months now and have been wanting to do a review on them so you guys can all see how freaking amazing these pigments/glitters are!
You’ll have to be patient with me because I took A TON of pictures of the colors that I have ordered over the past few months…
Some of them look different in each picture due to the amazing duo-chrome qualities, and some colors even have 3 or 4 different color shifts! AMAZING! :)
SO.
When you order Mon Ennui, you get your package in a pretty awesome turn-around time. It’s wrapped up in a plastic baggy like so…

When I ordered the owner was having an awesome secret code sale and one of the codes I used came with a FREE XL glitter. :D AMAZING DEAL!!

ALL of Mon Ennui pigments come with a seal inside them. :) Sanitary, and non-messy! :)

The picture above is an example of her small size jars. :) They are cheaper than the large 10g jars, and are great if you just want to try out a color to see if you like it or if you’re on a tight budget. :) She also has deluxe samples available. :)
OK! Now the fun part… swatches! :) I’m putting these under a “Read more” since there are SO many pictures. :)
Hi guys! :) I thought I’d try my hand at a picture tutorial since I’m totally ridiculous and socially awkward on camera. :P
In this look I used Urban Decay Primer, Sugarpill’s Love +, Flamepoint, and Buttercupcake. Also Mon Ennui Cosmetics’ Tardis, and Glittersniffer Chrome Serum. Mascara was Lash Blast by Covergirl. :) I was really inspired by a look that I saw on Makeup Bee so this is what came of it. :)
The first step in creating a good eye makeup look is always to put primer or base (or both) on you lid, all around your eye anywhere that you plan to put color.
After using Urban Decay primer potion I used my E.L.F. blending brush to apply Love + in a windshield wiper motion. (Usually I start at the bottom in my looks but this look required some different techniques.)

Keep packing on the color with this motion all around the top of your lid until it looks something like this… (ignore my hideous eye brows) You want to leave plenty of blank space open to blend in more colors. :)

Clean the brush, and then tart applying Flamepoint just above where Love + stops, using the same windshield wiper motion. :)

Make sure you leave a blank spot for the Buttercupcake. After you’ve applied Flamepoint you will probably have to take more Love + and blend it back over the top to reiterate and reshape the red.

Blend blend blend!

After you blended the Flamepoint and Love +, clean the brush to where there is no more red/orange coming off of it, and start to apply Buttercupcake gently, patting it onto the blank space. :)

Keep packing on the color and blending it upwards into the orange.

You’ll end up with something a little like this. :)

Take some kind of clear mixing medium (I used Glittersniffer’s Chrome Serum) and apply it along your lower lash line. Then take your blue, (or any other awesome color) I used Mon Ennui’s Tardis. (which btw is a gorgeous blue color made even more awesome by it’s name. :D Dr. Who forever <3) Take an eye liner brush and pick up your color… and apply to the lower lash line and angle it up to meet where the Love + ends, this can sometimes be messy and frustrating if the line isn’t straight. That’s when makeup remover on a Q-tip is handy! :)

Apply mascara and you’re finished! :) (it probably would have looked better if I had filled in my brows… but oh well :))

And here are some pictures in better lighting with no flash. :)
